Teacher- GA Pre-K

Summary

Peachtree Academy is interviewing for a GA PREK lead teacher. We have two classes so there are great opportunities to plan with your colleague. Small classroom settings with no more than 20 students per class make this an ideal situation for someone who wants to share their passion for education and create a fun learning environment.

Duties

• Teach the fundamentals of PreK and design an outstanding classroom with engaging activities.
• Evaluate and grade students' class work, performances, projects, assignments, and papers.
• Prepare students for performances.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
• Participate in campus and community events.
• Keep students informed of community events, such as plays and concerts.

Requirements

• Evaluate student work.
• Coordinate student extracurricular activities.
• Develop instructional materials.
• Guide class discussions.
• Attend training sessions or professional meetings to develop or maintain professional knowledge.
• Maintain student records.
• Develop instructional objectives.
• Select educational materials or equipment.

Our school is a State of Art Private PreK through 12th-grade private school. We are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools / Advanc-ED and we strive to challenge our students each and every day. Students utilize a state-of-the-art computer lab and library for learning enhancement.
