Are you looking to work in a center based program with a homey appeal? The Magic Mountain Children's Center is seeking full-time and part-time teachers for our infant and preschool room, as well as a strong and reliable floater. Magic Mountain Children's Center is a center based early education program serving 28 children, infant thru preschool age. The program has supported community and Vermont Law School families for over 30 years.
Desired qualifications include at least one of the following:
Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child or Human Development, Elementary Education or Child and Family Services.
Vermont Early Childhood Career Ladder Level Three (3) Certificate
Certificate of Completion from the Registered Child Apprenticeship Program
Child Care Certificate from the Community College of Vermont and at least 12 (12) months experience in working with children from grade three (3) or younger.
Successful completion of at least twenty-one (21) college credits with an early childhood or school age focus and at least twelve (12) months of experience working with children from grade three (3) or younger.
The ideal candidate with have great comprehension of child development, curriculum design, professional communication, a desire to be part of a collaborative team and ability to work with families and the community. An associates degree is preferred, but will consider other qualifications/ working towards a certificate or degree.
Full time teachers and staff receive vision and dental insurance and discounts on childcare at the center. No benefits are provided for part-time staff at this time.
