Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes early childhood development and learning. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality instruction tailored to diverse student needs, including those with developmental disabilities or special education requirements. Duties

Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student goals.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavioral management strategies to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain order, encourage participation, and foster respect among students.
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral health specialists, and other professionals to support students’ communication, social-emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Adapt instructional methods and materials for students with diverse learning styles, including those with autism, hearing impairments, or other disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing and progress monitoring tools to evaluate student growth and inform instruction.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress, IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, behavior plans, and other documentation necessary for compliance and reporting.

Requirements

  • Strong classroom management skills combined with expertise in behavior management techniques.
  • Experience in early childhood education, preschool settings, or daycare environments.
  • Knowledge of speech therapy practices, literacy education, math instruction, and curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with working with children who have developmental disabilities or special education needs.
  • Proficiency in learning technology tools that enhance teaching and student engagement.
  • Ability to develop individualized lesson plans that meet IEP requirements and support inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and specialists.
