Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a vibrant educational environment. Duties
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student goals.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavioral management strategies to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain order, encourage participation, and foster respect among students.
- Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral health specialists, and other professionals to support students’ communication, social-emotional, and developmental needs.
- Adapt instructional methods and materials for students with diverse learning styles, including those with autism, hearing impairments, or other disabilities.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing and progress monitoring tools to evaluate student growth and inform instruction.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, behavior plans, and other documentation necessary for compliance and reporting.
Requirements
- Strong classroom management skills combined with expertise in behavior management techniques.
- Experience in early childhood education, preschool settings, or daycare environments.
- Knowledge of speech therapy practices, literacy education, math instruction, and curriculum development.
- Familiarity with working with children who have developmental disabilities or special education needs.
- Proficiency in learning technology tools that enhance teaching and student engagement.
- Ability to develop individualized lesson plans that meet IEP requirements and support inclusive education.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, colleagues, and specialists.
