We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Teacher/Assistant Teachers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a positive learning atmosphere, supporting children's growth, and implementing age-appropriate curriculum. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for preschool or toddler age groups
  • Support classroom management and behavior guidance to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
  • Work closely with lead teachers to monitor and promote literacy, math, and other foundational skills
  • Provide individualized attention to children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities
  • Support classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining cleanliness
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and participating in staff meetings

Skills

  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages
  • Experience with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques
  • Familiarity with curriculum development for preschool or daycare settings
  • Ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers and preschoolers
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
  • Ability to adapt lesson plans for children with diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Ability to work in an ever changing, fast paced environment
  • Able to lift more than 25 pounds as well as lower self to be eye-level with children
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Credits in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required

Duties

Daily care of young children to include but not limited to feeding, diaper changing, potty training, assistance in bathroom. Classroom cleaning. Implementation of curriculum. Daily communication with parents and co-workers.
