Early Childhood Teacher – Small Quality Program (Mesa)

5th Place Community Childcare

5th Place Community Childcare is a small, community-focused early learning program in Mesa licensed for 56 children. Our program believes childhood should be joyful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate, our philosophy is simple: “Let’s Just Play.”

Duties

We are proud to be a Quality First participating program and are currently pursuing National Accreditation Commission (NAC) accreditation, which means we are committed to maintaining high standards for children, families, and staff.

Because we are a small program, our teachers are truly valued and play an important role in shaping our learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom
• Support children’s social and emotional development
• Work collaboratively with other teachers
• Communicate professionally with families
• Follow DHS licensing requirements and program policies

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children preferred
• Reliable and professional attendance
• Ability to work as part of a team
• CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Arizona fingerprint clearance card (or ability to obtain)
