Grades Math Teacher

Summary

Mālamalama Waldorf School is seeking a Math teacher for grades 5-8 for the 2025-26 school year.

Duties

Duties include:

• Teach math classes for grades 5–8 (approx. 7.5 hours/week)
• Prepare engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with Waldorf curriculum
• Maintain student records and progress reports
• Collaborate with class teachers and faculty
• Participate in occasional school events and meetings
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has previous experience teaching math, ideally has Waldorf teacher training, previous Waldorf teaching experience, and a grounding in anthroposophy with a bachelor’s degree or higher. The position is approximately 7.5 teaching hours per week in addition to other non-teaching hours.
