This position will work to implement the Summer Activities Program and will work with multiple age groups and teachers throughout the summer.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Implementing the Summer Activity Curriculum which includes crafts, activities, games, etc.
Gathering and dispersing of supplies
Assisting in each classroom with the daily activities
Gathering supplies back up at end of activity and putting back
Helping to clean up throughout the day
Ensure the safety of the children in care at the center
Fill in as needed in classrooms where needed as a lead
Be flexible and ready to help out as needed to help the center work as effectively as possible.
High School Diplomas or GED
Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
Must have childcare experience and/or educational training in childcare or elementary school education
Must be physically able to participate with children in a face paced environment
Must be patient and flexible
Must be dependable and trustworthy
Must pass background checks and obtain satisfactory TB screening
Must provide suitable references
CDA/ Early Childhood Associates or Certificated
CPR/First Aid
Experience
