Teacher Champion

Summary

As Champions, Caregivers and Educators, our mission is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment, which fosters a child's natural desire to explore, discover, create, and become a lifelong learner. We serve as our children's champions. A champion is a person who has defeated all opponents in a competition. In serving as a champion, we have an abiding and unwavering commitment to the emotional, intellectual and social development of each GODBE Kid.

Duties

Seeking loving, dependable, and enthusiastic teachers/champions who are passionate about working with toddlers and young children. Our teachers are not only educators but also champions for each child—supporting their growth academically, emotionally, and socially.

Responsibilities

• Encourage early learning in reading, writing, phonics, and recognition of letters, numbers, and colors
• Foster language development through creative reading, phonics activities, and interactive story time
• Support early math skills through counting and hands-on activities
• Engage children in arts, crafts, music, and play-based learning
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
• Assist with light cleaning and occasional errands as needed
• Collaborate with parents and staff to ensure the best outcomes for each child

Qualifications

• A genuine love for children and a nurturing spirit
• Dependable, patient, and committed to the Academy’s mission
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude
• Prior experience in childcare or early education preferred
• Ability to lift children that are 30 - 40 pounds in weight and 3 - 4 feet in height as well as physically play inside and outside in structured and non structural environments.

Requirements

• 2+ to 5 years of experience
• Prefer College Graduate with a degree associated with Teaching
• Some college or currently enrolled in college with a degree associated with Teaching
