Williamson County School's SACC program is currently hiring summer Day Camp Counselors in Fairview at Westwood Elementary School.

 

SACC is looking for enthusiastic team members who love working with elementary age children. 

 

Spend your summer making a difference with children leading fun activities from games, to cooking, to art projects, to sports, to recreation and go on field trips! 

Schedule & Availability Requirements: Shift Length: 6–8 hours (between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.), Monday–Friday

Weekly Hours: Minimum of 30 hours per week required

Time Off Limits: Up to 10 days off allowed between May 28 – July 31, 2026

Required Work Dates: Must be available for camp preparation days on May 22, 26, and 27, 2026

Start Date: Must be available to begin work on May 22, 2026

Pay is $16.37-$20.66 an hour

Duties

Williamson County Schools School Age Child Care (SACC) program is seeking energetic, responsible, and engaging individuals to serve as Day Camp Counselors for Summer 2026.

Counselors will lead hands-on activities, supervise elementary-aged students, and assist with field trips throughout the summer. This position requires the ability to supervise groups of up to 20 campers while ensuring a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment.

Day Camp Counselors Responsibilities

• Engage in fun, safe and enriching experiences elementary age children by
• Lead group games, recreation and enrichment activities
• Supervise up to 20 children on site
• Assist with basic first aid
• Provide redirection and discipline
• Supervise up to 10 children on off-site field trips
• Follow licensing safety procedures and guidelines
• Have fun!

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Satisfy criminal background check
• Some childcare experience paid or unpaid
