Night & Weekend Teacher

Brilliant Beginnings Learning Center is seeking qualified, energetic, and fun educators to join our night and weekend team. This position supports our Christian-based learning curriculum and serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Duties

• Assist in the implementation of curriculum activities and encourage participation by children.
• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents.
• Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.

To be considered for this position, you must meet all state licensing requirements listed below:

•  Must have experience working with children,
• Can successfully complete a Virginia State Background Check
• Would be will to take a PPD screening.
• High energy.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• An understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• A genuine love / interest in children's total development 

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 0-6 months of professional child care experience.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
