Are you passionate about the power of play? Do you love seeing the "Aha!" moments when a child discovers something new? We are looking for a creative, energetic Substitute Preschool Teacher to join our team every Wednesday. Potential for additional days/hours as needed.

In our play-based environment, we believe children learn best through active engagement, curiosity, and social interaction. You won’t just be "filling in"—you’ll be an essential part of a dynamic co-teaching team, working alongside a dedicated partner to support our young learners.

Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Partner for Success: Collaborate with your co-teacher to facilitate open-ended play and guided activities.
• Foster Curiosity: Support children as they explore building, storytelling, and imaginative role-play.
• Be a Proactive Helper: Jump in to help with transitions, classroom management, and student needs while following the lead of the full-time staff.
• Build Connections: Use your positive presence to create a sense of emotional safety and belonging for students.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine love for working with preschool-aged children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills—essential for a successful co-teaching partnership.
• Reliability and a proactive "how can I help?" attitude.
• Bonus: Previous experience in early childhood education (ECE) or a play-based setting.
• Highschool graduate
• At least 18 years of age
