Part time, entry level position working in a child care program. This position provides logistical and operational support to teaching staff by assisting with meal service, laundry, compliance paperwork, and classroom coverage needs. The role helps ensure a clean, organized, and well-supported environment for both staff and children. The child care program is located at a retirement community, Kendal@Ithaca, which requires professional interactions with Kendal staff and residents.

30 hours of training every two years (15 in the first six months of employment)
Be responsible, reliable, and dependable
Pass a Comprehensive Background Check
Experience in a childcare or school setting preferred
Ability to follow health, safety, and compliance regulations
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as laundry and food service
Perform other duties as assigned
