Job Description
Little Doves Children's Learning Center is seeking a compassionate and attentive One-on-One Support Teacher to provide individualized care for twin girls with physical disabilities in a childcare setting.
This position focuses on supporting children's safety, development, mobility, feeding, and participation in classroom activities while working closely with classroom staff and administration.
Duties
- Provide direct one-on-one supervision and support for two children throughout the day
- Assist with feeding, positioning, and mobility support
- Ensure children are safely included in classroom routines and activities
- Monitor children for signs of fatigue, discomfort, or medical concerns
- Follow each child’s individual care plan and health guidelines
- Assist with transitions such as diapering, meals, naps, and playtime
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the center director
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for the children
Requirements
- Required Credentials
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting children with diverse needs
- Familiarity with Brightwheel or similar childcare management software
- Exposure to multiple early learning teaching approaches
