The Childcare Floater plays a vital role in maintaining the daily operations of the childcare program by supporting multiple classrooms as needed. This position requires a flexible, adaptable individual who can assist teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for children. The floater works with children of varying ages, from infants to preschoolers, depending on the needs of the day.
Work Schedule:
This position is for afternoon assistants. We are hiring for multiple afternoon positions. This position can offer some fleixibility, but you must be available from 3:30 - 6:00 pm on the days that you are scheduled. Monday - Friday or 2 - 3 days per week schedules are available. Additional hours are also available.
Key Responsibilities:
Some experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude.

As a non-profit, LOA operates under a Board of Directors (the Board). The Board is charged with defining the mission, vision, and values of LOA’s early childhood education and development program.
