Children’s International School, based in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking an energetic, creative assistant educator for our two-year-old class. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children as they inquire about the world and explore their curiosities. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about learning and is patient, calm, and flexible.  US citizenship required.

Duties

To assist the teacher in: 

• Providing a warm, nurturing, and safe learning environment that encourages children to explore and grow.
• Monitoring the children and encourage them in their daily activities.
• Serving snacks and meals and cleaning afterward.
• Changing diapers.
• Promoting positive behavior and good social skills with the children by applying consistent techniques in accordance with licensing standards
• Maintaining a cooperative and supportive attitude within the school.
