Summary

Job description:

Tarrytown Children’s Center is a warm and welcoming Christian preschool serving young children and families in the Austin community. Our program focuses on creating a nurturing, faith-centered environment where children can learn, grow, and explore through play, creativity, and caring relationships.

We are looking for caring and dependable Substitute Teachers to join our team on an as-needed basis. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and would like a flexible, occasional schedule.

Substitutes step in when regular teachers are absent and help maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment for our preschool students.

We are also currently looking for a long-term substitute from mid-August through the end of September, so this may be a great opportunity for someone available during that time.

This is not a consistent weekly role, but an opportunity to support our school community when coverage is needed. Our school hours are 8:30-2:30pm M-F.

If you enjoy working with young children and would like to support a caring preschool community, we would love to hear from you!
