Summary
The Kitchen coordinator will provide daily meals to children from infants through age twelve and maintain a clean environment. The coordinator will work with the director to plan meals, purchase items, prepare and cook meals, and perform all cleaning duties necessary for food service. The coordinator will comply with Health department regulations, maintain serve-safe training, and adhere to childcare industry standards.
Duties
- Cooking and food prep for up to 136 children
- Cleaning dishes, pans and kitchen equipment
- Creating child-friendly nutritious meals
- Maintaining supplies and inventory
- Serve Safe training and compliance
Requirements
- Must pass prescribed background checks and be free of communicable illness
- Serve Safe Person in Charge certification
- Experience working in a kitchen
