About Hannah's House Academy

Hannah’s House Academy is a faith-based early childhood learning center dedicated to nurturing the hearts and minds of young children. We believe every child is a gift from God and deserves a safe, loving, structured environment where they can grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and compassionate Part-Time Childcare Teacher who loves working with young children and thrives in a team-oriented environment. This position has the potential to grow into full-time as needed.

Duties

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
  • Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities
  • Supervise children at all times (classroom, playground, meals, etc.)
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom spaces
  • Communicate professionally and positively with parents and staff
  • Follow all state licensing guidelines and center policies

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • CPR Certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Previous childcare experience preferred
  • Must pass background check
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with young children
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and punctual
  • Passion for early childhood development
  • Supportive of our faith-based mission and values
