Summer School Age Teacher

Summary

Adventures to Learning is looking for fun, energetic, and reliable School Age Summer Program Teachers to join our team for the summer! This position works with children ages 5–12 years old, helping lead engaging activities, outdoor play, games, and hands-on learning experiences. Our summer program focuses on creativity, exploration, friendship, and active play. If you enjoy working with children and creating memorable summer experiences, we would love to meet you

Duties

• Supervise and engage school-age children in a safe and positive environment
• Plan and lead fun summer activities such as games, crafts, STEM projects, and outdoor play
• Encourage teamwork, problem solving, and social development
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom and activity spaces
• Follow Wisconsin childcare licensing regulations and center policies
• Communicate respectfully with families and coworkers
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Experience working with children preferred
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Reliable and responsible
• Ability to lead activities and keep children engaged
• Must meet Wisconsin DCF childcare licensing requirements
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
