Calvary Christian Preschool is a faith-based center that is a part of Calvary Christian School. We are a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church. · Schedule and implement lessons / activities for your class
· Be organized and create a positive learning environment.
· Maintain cleanliness of classrooms
· Ensure a safe structured learning environment.
· Maintain accurate tracking of children following DSS Ratios
· Complete ongoing training each year in order to meet all requirements for DSS
· Must be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma.
· Six months experience as a teacher/caregiver in a DSS regulated facility or a degree in early childhood, child development, or a related field is preferred, but training will be provided as needed.
· Strong use of technology in order to communicate with parents/other staff and log children in/out or transfer between classrooms.
· Must be a professing Christian with a Biblically sound salvation experience that is clearly communicated and be active in a local Bible-believing church.
· Must exhibit a Christ-like servant attitude.
· Must maintain a personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, and in agreement with ministry policy.
· Ability to work well in a team environment to provide the best care possible.
· Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm manner.
· Maintain confidentiality of personnel and student matters.
CPR/First-Aid Certifications are a plus, but training for certifications will be provided if necessary.
