Summary
Aquarelle Kids Academy is currently seeking a qualified Lead Teacher with a CDA credential to join our team in the 3-year-old (36 months) classroom.

Duties
As a Lead Teacher at Aquarelle Kids Academy, your primary duties will include:
- Planning and executing age-appropriate educational and developmental activities.
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and enriching learning environment that fosters the growth and development of each child.
- Designing and following a curriculum focused on the comprehensive development of children, including cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development areas.
- Providing guidance and support to classroom teaching staff and assistants to ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and individualized child care.
- Collaborating with parents and guardians to maintain open and constructive communication about children's progress and needs.
- Regularly assessing children's progress and using results to adapt and enhance educational practices.
- Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of attendance, progress, and development of children, as well as any relevant classroom incidents.

Requirements
As a Lead Teacher at Aquarelle Kids Academy, the following requirements are expected:
- A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children aged 36 months in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and guardians.
- Demonstrated passion for and commitment to early childhood education, with a genuine love for teaching and nurturing young children.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of children.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity in lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of early childhood education.

This position is Full Time. Monday – Friday. The pay is $15 -17 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
These requirements ensure that candidates are well-equipped to fulfill the responsibilities of the Lead Teacher role and contribute positively to the educational experience and development of young children at our academy.
