Summary


Aquarelle Kids Academy is currently seeking a qualified Lead Teacher with a CDA credential to join our team in the 3-year-old (36 months) classroom.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated early childhood professional who is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.

Duties


As a Lead Teacher at Aquarelle Kids Academy, your primary duties will include:

  1. Planning and executing age-appropriate educational and developmental activities.
  2. Creating a safe, stimulating, and enriching learning environment that fosters the growth and development of each child.
  3. Designing and following a curriculum focused on the comprehensive development of children, including cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development areas.
  4. Providing guidance and support to classroom teaching staff and assistants to ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and individualized child care.
  5. Collaborating with parents and guardians to maintain open and constructive communication about children's progress and needs.
  6. Regularly assessing children's progress and using results to adapt and enhance educational practices.
  7. Participating in ongoing professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
  8. Maintaining accurate and complete records of attendance, progress, and development of children, as well as any relevant classroom incidents.

These responsibilities are designed to ensure the well-being and optimal development of children while creating an enriching and stimulating educational environment.

Requirements

As a Lead Teacher at Aquarelle Kids Academy, the following requirements are expected:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  2. Previous experience working with children aged 36 months in an educational setting.
  3. Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and guardians.
  5. Demonstrated passion for and commitment to early childhood education, with a genuine love for teaching and nurturing young children.
  6. Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the holistic development of children.
  7. Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity in lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
  8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  9. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field of early childhood education.

  11. FL DCF 45 hours

This position is Full Time. Monday – Friday. The pay is $15 -17 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. 


These requirements ensure that candidates are well-equipped to fulfill the responsibilities of the Lead Teacher role and contribute positively to the educational experience and development of young children at our academy.
