Duties
Our Sales Associates bring Trek HP’s mission to life by delivering exceptional hospitality and helping more people experience the joy of riding bikes. From the moment a customer pulls into the parking lot to the moment they roll out on a new bike—or drive away excited for their next ride—you’re their Guide. You’ll help them reach their cycling goals, keep their bikes performing at their best, and ensure every interaction feels welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun.
- Build your sales and hospitality skills through training, role‑playing, and hands‑on experience.
- Help the team achieve, monthly and annual sales goals.
- Learn the ins and outs of bikes, components, apparel, and cycling technology.
- Participate in daily huddles and end‑of‑day debriefs to stay aligned and connected.
- Use Trek's Guide Sales Process to deliver outstanding hospitality to every customer.
- Follow up on Quotes to support customers throughout their journey.
- Make thoughtful decisions that prioritize customer care and doing the right thing.
- Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing Trek U modules and staying current on products, services, and procedures.
When You're Not Actively Assisting Customers
You’ll help keep the store running smoothly by:
- Completing Daily Task List assignments.
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards, including product placement, price auditing, cleaning and restocking.
- Performing weekly Cycle Counts.
- Assembling or pre‑assembling new bicycles.
- Receiving shipments
Requirements
Nights and Weekend availability requirements:
- 1-2 nights (M, W, F) and 1 weekend day (Sat, Sun)
Additional requirements:
- Ability to lift 40lbs
- A positive, “get stuff done”, attitude.
- A passion for bikes
- A desire to learn.
