SUMMARY STATEMENT
Under supervision, complete the “Home Energy Audit” and apply technical knowledge and exercise proper judgment in determining the most cost-effective and energy efficient methods to complete energy projects while ensuring adherence with quality standards.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
One year general construction and/or maintenance experience
Combination of education and experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Three years experience performing professional electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, or general construction
Building Performance Institute Certificate (BPI)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Current AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card/ Criminal History Affidavit/Central Registry Background Check
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
*Ability to secure and maintain a driver’s license valid in the state of Arizona. Will be required to drive an agency vehicle. Employees authorized to operate a private vehicle for WACOG business are required to carry liability insurance minimums. For purposes of vehicle insurance, minimum 21 years of age.

-Ability to read, interpret, and apply a wide range of technical instructions
-In-depth knowledge of building codes and energy codes, with practical working experience
-Working knowledge of equipment such as hot water heaters, electric and gas ranges, and related appliances
-Skill in safely using electric tools to perform work in compliance with safety standards
-Ability to safely navigate small or elevated spaces during work activities
-Ability to obtain and maintain BPI certification
-Ability to think creatively and resourcefully to overcome obstacles and help clients achieve their goals
-Knowledge of and respect for diversity, with the ability to adapt approach and communication accordingly
-Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office products
-Ability to communicate effectively in the native language of clients is preferred
