Early Childhood - Lead Preschool Teachers

Summary

Town & Country Early Learning Center is looking for Lead Preschool Teachers to join our team of educators working with children aged 3-5 and/or before and after school. Applicants must be interested in supporting our mission to provide a nurturing, educational, and secure environment for young children.

NO WEEKENDS! NO NIGHTS! And a cleaning company that cleans the center at night!

Preschool teachers are responsible for the supervision of up to 10 children ages 3-5 years

Full time positions available

Duties

Responsibilities include:

• Using positive discipline techniques to support independence, self-regulation, and social skills
• Supporting children in developing self-help skills
• Record keeping
• Communicating with families
• Maintaining confidentiality
• Maintaining conduct and professionalism
• Creating and maintaining a safe, learning environment
• Creating and implementing curriculum that supports children's growth and development in alignment with the CTELDS
• Gathering data regarding children's growth and development in alignment with the CTDOTS
• Maintaining required certifications - CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, Background checks, CT Charts-A-Course Registry, current statement of good health
• Demonstrating reliability and punctuality

Requirements

Teachers must have earned an Associates or BA degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field - or be in the process

Experience working with young children
