Summary

We are looking to expand our team with another high quality carpet installer. This carpet installer must excel at handling pattern carpet installations. Installers play an important role in the customer service experience and quality of the product. You will be a subcontractor employee. You are responsible for carrying insurance (must show proof), a reliable vehicle for transportation, tools and references and photos of completed work. You are responsible for picking up and handling materials, installing Carpet One products and following up on all job assignments and guaranteeing your work.

Duties

·        Maintain a level of professionalism while representing the Carpet One brand on the road and with the customers.

·        Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace in the installer van and during the installation.

·        Maintain a level of professional knowledge on Carpet One products and installation methods.

·        Complete the job by installing the Carpet One product with attention to detail.

·        Fill-out and process appropriate paperwork before and after the installation in a timely manner.

·        Communicate with the salesperson at the store if any issues occur during the installation to avoid addressing problems with the customer directly.

·        Demonstrate punctuality and time management by arriving to the job site on time.

·        Communicate effectively with the customer to ensure a successful installation.

Requirements

  • Clean work sites.
  • Install carpet or flooring.
  • Cut carpet, vinyl or other flexible materials.
  • Smooth surfaces with abrasive materials or tools.
  • Inspect work sites to determine condition or necessary repairs.
  • Prepare surfaces for finishing.
  • Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly.
  • Cut carpet, vinyl or other flexible materials.
  • Mark reference points on construction materials.
  • Plan layout of construction, installation, or repairs.
  • 5+ years of carpet installation experience, with a niche for pattern carpet at a high level.
  • Provide reliable transportation, valid drivers license, tools and carry and provide proof of insurance.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Must provide legitimate references and photos of completed work.
