We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team for the 2026-2027 school year (beginning in August 2026). The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children while promoting a love for learning through play and exploration.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote early childhood development.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and express themselves.
- Incorporate developmentally appropriate practices and principles into daily activities to enhance independent learning and critical thinking.
- Provide individualized support for children with varying needs, including early intervention strategies when necessary.
- Monitor children's progress through observation and assessment, adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development, behavior, and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
Requirements
- Experience working in a preschool setting or with young children is essential.
- Familiarity with approaches to early childhood education is preferred.
- Proficient in creating engaging classroom environments that stimulate learning through play and exploration.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
