PM Floater/Assistant Teacher

Position Overview:

Our Floater / Assistant Teacher supports all classrooms (Infant through Pre-K) by assisting lead teachers, helping maintain classroom routines, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for every child. This role is perfect for someone who is flexible, team-oriented, and passionate about early childhood education.

Duties

• Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities
• Help supervise children during centers, circle time, playground, and transitions
• Provide nurturing care and guidance to students
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Step into classrooms as needed to support ratios and breaks
• Communicate professionally with team members and families

Requirements

• Experience working with young children preferred
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to multitask and adapt throughout the day
• Must meet state licensing requirements (background check, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain)
