This lead teacher will work alongside the infant teacher to create a fun, exciting, and hands-on learning experience for our 6 week-2 year old classroom. This teacher will help develop and implement curriculum and manage the day to day operational activities of the classroom. He or she must understand children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. This teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide any teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns. The position reports to the assistant director and director.
The job will be Monday-Friday, 29 hours a week. The specific hours of the position will be discussed during the interview process. Example of potential hours would be 7:45-2:00 with a 30 min lunch break. Salary is based on applicant's qualifications and experience.
Must be 18 years of age
-High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents).
-Strong communication skills in interacting with parents and teachers each day.
-Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certification
-Must clear full background and fingerprint check and must pass health screening.

Associate or bachelors degree in early childhood
