Summary

Love Learning Center is a small business in Irmo, SC. We are professional, innovative and our goal is to is to provide a developmentally appropriate program for young children that fosters the whole child concept, respects each child as an individual and stimulates a child’s natural interest in, and enjoyment of learning. All our teachers are DSS certified, experienced and educated in early childhood, and boast a passion for children.

Duties

• Provide developmental guidance and mental stimulation to young children.
• Be sensitive to the needs of children with special needs or circumstances.
• Communicate with children's families to ensure understanding of the caretaking plans, progress, and issues.
• Communicate with other childcare providers to ensure consistency in caretaking plans, progress, and issues.

Requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
