Toddler Teacher

Summary

Countryside Learning Center in Rosendale, WI is looking to hire a toddler teacher for their 1-2 room.

Our goal is to create a safe learning environment for children to learn and grow to their greatest potential.

Countryside Learning Center is open 630am-530pm Monday-Friday besides holidays.

Toddler Room can have up to 8 children in the room with two teachers.

Duties

*Interacting with children on the at their level which can include; the floor, at a table, or outside.

*Lesson planning weekly off themes provided.

*Assist children with their emotions when involving sharing and not getting their way.

*Work with a co-teacher if needed.

*Follow a check list for daily items that need to be completed such as; wiping down the counter, and sanitizing toys.

*Keeping the environment safe and clear of hazards.

*Other tasks if needed.

Requirements

• Assistant or Lead teacher qualifications through Wisconsin Registry.
• CPR and First Aid (if do not have with assist in getting it)
• Shaken Baby/ Abusive Head Trauma/ Mandated Reporter, SIDS training.
• Pass a Background Check
• Pass Finger Printing
• Able to get on the floor with the children
• Willing to complete 25 hours of continuing education each year

Nice To Haves

• Previous Child care experience but will train the right one.
• Level 6 on the Wisconsin Registry but will assist the right person in getting to that level.
