Summary

We are seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our team, providing a nurturing and educational environment for young learners. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our future generation with age appropriate implementation, scaffolding learning and providing a safe and warm environment.

Duties

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth

- Create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning through play

- Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment for children

- Monitor and assess each child's progress and communicate effectively with parents

- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members

- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conductive to learning

Requirements

Qualifications

- Previous experience in childcare center setting is required or working with Toddlers aged 18 month to 36 months

- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum

- Ability to educate and engage young learners in a classroom setting

- Understanding of child welfare and development best practices

- Experience in toddler care is required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infants and Toddlers
• CPR and First Aid Certified
• A minimum of 3 years experience working with children ages 18 months to 36 months
• Worked in a Licensed by the State of New Jersey Child Care Center
