Duties
Classroom & Curriculum Support
- Engage & Inspire: Actively participate in daily activities, encouraging children to explore, play, and participate.
- Co-Managed Excellence: Share responsibility for classroom management, ensuring a clean, organized, and inviting space for learning.
- Positive Interactions: Build strong bonds with students by being responsive to their individual needs and modeling positive behaviors.
Health, Safety & Care
- Nurturing Care: Assist children with essential personal hygiene, including handwashing, toileting, and diapering, with dignity and care.
- Regulatory Gold Standards: Ensure 100% compliance with licensing, health, and fire department regulations to keep our children safe.
- Seamless Transitions: Help families start their day right by facilitating smooth, welcoming morning transitions from home to the center.
Communication & Documentation
- Parent Partnership: Keep families connected through frequent informal updates and professional progress reports.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with your Lead Teacher to maintain accurate, real-time attendance and classroom records.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the highest level of professional discretion regarding student and center information.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
