Cabot Children's Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Professional to lead this welcoming environment that specializes in infant and toddler care. We are a very small licensed center for 15 children that is nestled in the supportive community of Cabot, VT. Cabot Children's Center value teamwork, communication, and community. Education/experience requirements:
Must be 21 years of age.
Meet Teacher Associate qualifications
Vermont Early Childhood and Afterschool Program Director Step One Certificate
or
successful completion of 3 college credit course in program management for early care and education or for school age care and education, or in staff supervision related to early care and education of children; and a 3 college credit course in curriculum.
2 years experience
Training/certifications requirements:
As per center policy, all employees must complete a minimum of 50 hours professional development yearly, maintain current 1st aid and CPR certification, and complete the following trainings:
VT orientation training
Mandated reporting
Medication administration
Basic specialized care
All employees must follow the guidelines and policies outlined in the Employee Handbook. Employees are also required to be familiar with The State of Vermont Child Development Division Licensing regulations and policies. The candidate must be able to pass a background check and fingerprint screening.
