Work Hours 7:00 am - 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm- 4:00 pm

Duties

Kitchen Cook Duties: Help nourish our Preschool with care and cleanliness

Food Preparation: Prepare meals according to the daily menu, set up plates and distribute milk

Clean Up and Closing: Wipe tables, sweep, mop kitchen and dining area, lock up the kitchen and social hall before leaving

 

Custodial Duties: Support a clean, safe and welcoming environment     

Daily Tasks

·     Empty rubbish in bathrooms and classrooms

·     Mop bathrooms (Social Hall and Preschool)

·     Sweep and mop classrooms, kitchen

·     Clean outdoor sink and lanai areas (front and back benches)

·     Replenish toilet paper, clean sinks and toilets

·     Lock up Social Hall

·     Pick up rubbish in parking lot areas   

  

Weekly Task (Mondays): Clean office stairwell

Additional Responsibilities:

·     Troubleshoot minor repairs (plugged toilets, spills in classrooms or outdoor areas)

·     Set up and clean tables and chairs for school events (Halloween, Christmas, May Day, Graduation)

 

 

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Complete Food Safety Training

• DHS Background Clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience in meal preparation, food storage, and menu planning

• Active Food Handler Certification and completing the Food Safety Education Program Certification every three years

• Adhere to dietary guidelines for children to promote balanced and nutritious meals

• Experience in cleaning, sanitation and facility care

• Knowledge of safe handling practices

• Awareness of early childhood sanitation standards
