Home Daycare Teacher

Summary

We are seeking a caring, dependable, and engaging Home Daycare Teacher to support children in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate home daycare environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, can follow daily routines, and supports learning through play and positive guidance. Schedules varies but mostly Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, some Tuesdays and Thursdays, weekends varies (or not applicable) 10a-2p in the summer and 4p-9p from Fall-Spring.

Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children in a home daycare setting
• Support age-appropriate learning activities (play, arts & crafts, reading, outdoor play, etc.)
• Assist with daily routines including meals/snacks, nap time, and transitions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Use positive guidance and redirection to support children’s behavior
• Communicate respectfully with the daycare provider regarding children’s needs and daily activities
• Follow all daycare policies, safety procedures, and state regulations

Requirements

• Experience working with children (daycare, babysitting, nannying, teaching, or similar) preferred
• Must be patient, reliable, and nurturing
• Ability to engage children in play and learning activities
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Background check required
• Must be able to work flexible hours on an as-needed basis
