Summary

We are seeking a passionate and nurturing Bilingual Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports learning through play, exploration, and bilingual communication (English and Spanish preferred).

Duties

  • Plan and implement daily lessons and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Incorporate both English and Spanish in classroom routines, songs, and lessons to build language exposure and understanding.
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and respect.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child’s progress, classroom activities, and goals.
  • Model appropriate language use and encourage children’s participation in both languages.
  • Assist with meal times, toileting, and transitions in a nurturing and organized manner.
  • Maintain accurate attendance, lesson plan, and incident documentation in accordance with state licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to uphold the values and educational standards.

Requirements


  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Minimum two years of experience in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and positive behavior guidance.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Nice To Haves

  • CDA (Child Development Associate), TCC (Technical Certificate of Credit), or higher credential in Early Childhood Education
