Preschool Teacher Position

Summary

We are seeking a nurturing, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our childcare team. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.

Duties

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities
• Supervise children at all times and maintain required staff-to-child ratios
• Foster positive behavior through guidance, encouragement, and redirection
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
• Complete daily documentation, incident reports, and lesson plans as required
• Communicate effectively with families regarding child progress and needs
• Follow all childcare licensing, safety, and health regulations
• Collaborate with coworkers and support a positive team environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working with preschool-age children preferred
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Background check clearance per state childcare regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

Nice To Haves

• ECD 101 (Introduction to Early Childhood Education)
• Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Experience with lesson planning and classroom routines
