Summary
The Shared Services Specialist II will work with Child Care Management Systems (CCMS) (ELV, Brightwheel, Procare), local Child Care Resource & Referral agency and Recruiters to promote and share the Shared Services Model. The primary clients of the program are Family Child Providers (FCC) and centers. The Specialist II serves as the contact for CCMS and Providers. The Specialist II will conduct monthly learning communities and track attendance.
Duties
Essential Duties:
- Work alongside with partner agencies
- Recruit FCC providers and centers to join Shared Service
- Assists enrollees by managing use of services
- Present at FCC networks/training meetings.
- Create and distribute flyers/rack cards
- Manage group website
- Coordinate and Assist with Demo various platforms
- Provide monthly learning and networking with participants
- Provide quarterly reports; final report year end
- Other duties assigned
Working Conditions: Combination of office environment and outdoor/travel required
Work Hours: Typically 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday; duties may require evening and weekend hours.
Equipment Use: Computer and standard office equipment.
Requirements
Mental, Physical, and Communication Demands: Requires relating to people in a friendly and professional manner with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requires excellent computer and typing ability and the ability to pay close attention to detail. Requires working under minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Skills and Knowledge:
- Possess a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential client information and situations.
- Understanding of Child Care landscape in Hawaii.
- Knowledge of DHS Licensing Rules & Regulations
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required.
- Access to high speed internet
Education and Work Experience:
- Degree in ECE or related field OR 5 years of experience working in ECE
- Experience with program management.
- Advanced computer software experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and working knowledge of database applications.
