Summary
Create a loving and nurturing environment, where children are free to learn and explore through play. Teaching patience and kindness with some faith based learning. The teacher will also work with the curriculum "A Little Spot of Emotion." The teacher will aid in preparing the children socially, emotionally, and educationally for kindergarden.
Duties
- create weekly lesson plans
- observe and document for developmental portfolios using WMELS
- clean classroom/bathroom
- serve children center provided breakfast and pm snack and assist with their lunches
- Take children outside daily
- communication folders with children and parents
- parent teacher conferences
- attend monthly center wide meeting
- Continuing Education
Requirements
- 1 year experience with children
- minimum of a level 7 on the Registry
- Flexible
- Reliable
- CPR ( can obtain once hired if renewal is needed)
