Warehouse & Maintenance Worker

Summary

We are a retail flooring store that is currently seeking a reliable individual to fill an immediate opening in our warehouse.

Full-time, Monday through Friday. Paid holidays, sick days and vacation time.

Health benefits and 401k available with company covering a portion of the employees monthly premium.

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, applicants will be asked to provide proof at time of interview and will not be considered without one.

Duties

Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:

• Operating fork lift
• Receiving inventory product/inventory management
• Staging materials for daily installations
• Organizing warehouse
• Operating carpet cutting machine (training will be provided)
• Using company van for local deliveries and pick ups
• Building maintenance - cleaning and maintaining appearance of showroom and store front
• Setting up and taking down showroom displays as needed
• Handyman skills are a plus for small projects to maintain the store
• Providing exquisite customer service

Requirements

Qualifications for this position:

• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills both verbally and written
• Able to take direction and willing to learn our computer system
• Able to operate a forklift
• Able to move boxes of tile, wood and run carpet cutting machine
• Good people skills
• Independent proactive thinker
