Duties
Including and not limited to;
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials with accuracy.
- Install doors, windows, cabinets, framing, millwork, ceramic tile, laminate countertops, siding, roofing, flooring, and other carpentry components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
- Work independently or with a team.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Keep work van tidy and in order at all times.
- Arrive to work punctually each day.
- Manage time appropriately to keep project on time and on budget.
- Complete all necessary paperwork on a daily basis.
Requirements
Ten years experience in residential carpentry.
Physical stamina to be on your for each work day and 44 hour work week.
Ability to safely carry 80lbs.
Valid drivers license.
Steel toe work boots.
Outerwear for all seasons.
Tool pouch and all basic hand tools.
Cordless impact, drill, circular saw, reciprocating saw, oscillating saw, grinder, trouble light and charger.
Torpedo, 2 foot, and 4 foot levels.
