Position Summary:
The Kitchen Staff and Teacher Aid will assist the Site Manager in providing a supportive, respectful, safe and healthy environment for children enrolled in YWCA Early Learning Centers. The position will be responsible for all meal preparations: prepping breakfast and PM snack and plating and serving lunch to each classroom. Additionally, the role will know all the food safety and CACFP procedures. The Kitchen Staff and Teacher Aid will monitor the kitchen inventory and keep the kitchen organized, clean and sanitary at all times. The role may be asked to support classrooms by stepping into ratio or to cover another employee’s break.

Education:
· High School Diploma or GED;
Experience:
· 18 years of age or older
· CPR/ First Aid certification or certification within two months of employment.
