Pre-K Teacher

Summary

Our Children Learning Center is now accepting applications for Pre-K Teachers that are passionate, energetic and caring to join our fast-growing team. We are seeking experienced Child Care Teachers that possess the ability to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facility. Teachers will educate and supervise children while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination. Duties

• Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material
• Balance your teaching between logical and social exercises
• Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) to enhance the child’s abilities
• Evaluate children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track
• Observe children’s interactions and promote the spirit of concord
• Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of corrective action
• Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources

Requirements

• Fingerprints and background check a must
• 6 months to 1 year of professional experience working with children in a childcare environment preferred; however, OCLC is willing to train.
• High School diploma or GED is required. Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred.
• Must adhere to state specific guidelines.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or the ability to obtain is required.
