Trek Bicycle Stores | Florida

Senior Ecommerce & Operations Manager

Reference ID : 166371
Location : Estero, FL
Category : Retail
Job Type : Full Time

Description

Summary

Trek Bicycle Stores is growing fast, and we're building an ecommerce platform that seamlessly connects our in-store experience with our online customer journey. We're looking for a seasoned ecommerce operator with omni-channel experience who understands how digital and retail operations work together to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

If you enjoy refining systems, improving the customer experience, and producing measurable results, this role will feel like home.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, results-driven position where you'll own the ecommerce channel end to end. You’ll refine the website experience, align digital and store operations, and build the structure that supports scalable growth across a multi-location retail business.

You're not walking into a crisis. You're stepping into a developing, high-opportunity ecommerce environment ready for a strong operator to elevate it.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Are:

•      Experienced in omni-channel ecommerce (buy-online-pickup-in-store, ship-from-store, multi-location inventory, etc.), scaling a business

•      Experience scaling an e-commerce company to over $5M+ in revenue

•      A hands-on Shopify operator with strong technical instincts

•      You think in terms of both growth and cost discipline. You build systems that scale without bloating expenses and you’re constantly hunting for waste to eliminate

•      Obsessed with improving systems and removing operational friction

•      Driven by clear KPIs and measurable results

•      Strong in communication, follow-through, and execution

•      Energized by growth and contributing at a high level

Duties

What You’ll Do

• Improve website flow, navigation, and customer experience

• Solve friction between online ordering and in-store fulfillment

• Strengthen omni-channel processes that connect ecommerce to store operations

• Improve conversion rate through thoughtful CRO and UX refinement

• Increase AOV through strategic merchandising and offer design

• Oversee fulfillment across multiple locations and maintain 95%+ OTIF

• Establish repeatable processes, clean reporting, and weekly scorecards

• Build the systems that support predictable ecommerce growth

What Success Looks Like

• A faster, cleaner online shopping experience

• Improved conversion rate and higher AOV

• Seamless coordination between ecommerce and store fulfillment

• Reliable, on-time orders

• Clean catalog and accurate tracking

• Predictable weekly execution

• A scalable omni-channel system supporting long-term growth

Requirements

Proven owner of e-commerce revenue and profit

  • They have actually owned an online P&L before, not just “worked on the site.”
  • Has grown sales and margin, not just traffic
  • Comfortable with targets, forecasting, and trade-off decisions

Omni-channel and operations chops

  • They understand how online and stores work together.
  • Has experience tying e-commerce to physical locations
  • Knows order flow, inventory accuracy, fulfillment SLAs, and returns
  • Can design and enforce clear SOPs that store teams will actually follow

Data driven and hands on with tools

  • They live in the numbers and know their way around the stack.
  • Uses data to prioritize: what to fix, test, or double down on
  • Comfortable inside e-commerce and analytics platforms
  • Can brief and manage dev and marketing, not just escalate tickets

Customer experience and trust mindset

  • They get that bikes are a trust purchase, not an impulse buy.
  • Thinks end-to-end: product page, checkout, delivery, follow up
  • Cares that the online promise matches in store reality
  • Knows how to create or critique copy and flows that make customers feel confident

Cross functional leader who can scale systems

  • They can align people and build systems that work at 16 stores and at 50.
  • Has led across marketing, stores, service, warehouse, and finance
  • Builds simple, scalable processes instead of one-off hacks
  • Comfortable in a growing, changing environment and can bring others with them

This Role Is Not for You If:

•      You prefer a slow-moving environment

•      You want to manage from a distance instead of operating

•      You shy away from accountability or clear metrics

•      You don’t want to get your hands dirty doing the tactical side of e-commerce

  • GA4, Tag Manager, pixels, and basic Liquid/HTML/CSS.
