Small Business Warehouse/Building Assistant

Immediate opening available for an experienced warehouse/building maintenance professional for a 33 year old small retail home decor business (flooring, window treatments and Kitchen and Bath) known for our superior customer service and professional staff. If you are looking for a career, you may be the candidate we’re looking for. If you're a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual, we will provide the tools and training you need to achieve outstanding success. Duties

Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:

Receiving (rolls of carpet, pallets of flooring, window treatments,misc items)

Shipping 

Warehouse duties

Material inventory 

Installer/Customer Loading

Deliveries

Material p/u

Vehicle & Forklift operation and maintenance 

Grounds & building maintenance 

Some purchasing and shopping of ofc supplies

Requirements

Qualifications for this position:

• High attention to detail
• Good communication skills both verbally and written
• Able to take direction and willing to learn our computer system
• Able to operate a forklift
• Able to move boxes of tile, wood, laminate and luxury vinyl
• Able to move boxes of window treatments
• Good people skills
• Independent proactive thinker
• Team player
• Flexible/Open work schedule
• Basic handyman skills
