Preschool Teacher

Summary

CAVE SPRING UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Weekday Preschool seeks a caring, kind, loving individual to join our staff. Must have a heart for caring for children and a passion for early childhood education.

This position will have a minimum of 30 hours, up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Duties

Duties to include, but are not limited to:

• Interacting with children and their parents in a positive and energetic manner
• Follow the curriculum completely each day
• Monitor the children's safety at all times
• Enforce rules and policies
• Maintain a neat and clean classroom
• Work collaboratively with other staff members

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Have experience caring for young children
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, sit on the floor, etc.
• Must be able to pass fingerprint and CPS background checks
• Have the ability to remain responsible at all times for the supervision of children
• Work cooperatively with a team
