Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

Compensation: $57,922-$92,542

Stepping Stones Learning Institute is concentrated on establishing a positive preschool experience for young children. The intent is to create a dun, nurturing environment which allows children to accomplish tasks successfully to enrich confidence in their self-esteem and bolster a positive attitude towards learning.

The Preschool Teacher will instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for primary school. Candidates must have a P-3 (Preschool through Grade 3) certification, CE or CEAS and preschool teaching experience. 

Duties

• Know and understand child development and apply this knowledge in practice
• Observe and assess children’s behavior and use it to plan, as well as to individualize teaching practices and curriculum
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
• Plan and implement curriculum that advances all areas of children’s learning and development across social, emotional and cognitive domains
• Maintain positive relationships with children and families
• Support the development and learning of individual children
• Recognize that children are best understood in the context of family, culture and society 

Requirements

• Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD Assessment Platform helpful, but not required
• Must pass local and state background checks and health screening
• Must have P-3 certification, CE/CEAS and preschool teaching experience
• Knowledge and use of social media platforms is helpful for communication to families.
