Summary
We are a Christian-based childcare and learning center seeking a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our ministry-minded team. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment where children grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically.
Duties
- Provide age-appropriate care and instruction for toddlers (typically ages 1–2)
- Foster a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment
- Plan and implement engaging, hands-on activities aligned with developmental milestones
- Communicate daily with parents regarding their child's progress and needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Support the spiritual growth of children through prayer, songs, and simple Bible lessons
Requirements
- A heart for children and a love for Jesus Christ
- Experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare or ministry setting preferred but willing to train right candidate
- High school diploma or GED required; CDA or early childhood education preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Able to meet state childcare licensing requirements including background check
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
