PRN DAYCARE TEACHER

Duties

**Duties:**

- Provide quality care to children in a daycare setting

- Create and implement age-appropriate educational activities

- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment

- Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities

- Collaborate with other teachers to plan and coordinate daily routines

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress

Requirements

**Qualifications:**

• - 1 year Previous experience in childcare or daycare settings
• - Knowledge of early childhood education principles
• - Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• - Certification in Early Childhood Education is a plus
• - Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool and school age is preferred
• - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• CPR and First Aid
• Childcare training
• Virginia Health and safety for Childcare staff 10 hr training
• At least 1 year of lead teacher experience
