The Nurturing Tree Early Learning Academy is looking for a Full-Time Lead Teacher!

Duties

·      Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff, contributing to a supportive team environment.

·      Communicate regularly and professionally with parents/guardians regarding child progress, classroom updates, and needs.

·      Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met

·      Ensure a healthy environment for the safety of the children

·      Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.

·      Help prepare and serve meals and snacks, overseeing mealtime routines.

·      Create and maintain a safe, warm, and inviting classroom that is clean and organized.

·      Achieve center goals by collaborating with team and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and family engagement initiatives.

·      Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds (e.g., lifting children, supplies, or equipment).

·      Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and sit on the floor for extended periods while engaging with children.

Requirements

·      1-year childcare experience

·      High energy

·      An understanding of child development and the willingness to learn!

·      Willing to take required trainings and maintain yearly continuing education

·      Must clear full background check and pass health screening

·      Able to walk 2 miles, 2 to 3 times per week in various weather conditions
